Using the same interface as online InnoVia, Personal InnoVia (PI) delivers full MLS functionality – including custom report creation – without an internet connection.
PI’s “Intelligent Update” module lets users keep their system up to date by automatically downloading the listings they want to their computer.
To install the product, login to InnoVia and download the installation program at the bottom of the “Misc Menu” called “Download Personal InnoVia v. 3.0.” When the user clicks to download the installation file, a page of instructions will display (please read completely prior to downloading the “setup.exe” file). It is also recommended that users download the Training Manual and save it to their desktop.
When setting up PI for the first time, the user will be taken step-by-step through the PI 3.0 Release1 Setup Wizard. After this is completed, a login page (similar to NTREIS InnoVia) will be displayed. Once the user has logged in, he/she will be taken through a registration process followed by the PI setup.
During PI setup, users will see a screen that looks like the Cross Property Search in NTREIS InnoVia. This is where the user will choose what data will be included in their initial download. It is suggested that the amount of data for the initial download be limited by property category, status and area to make it more manageable. Do not attempt to download the entire MLS!
Automatic updates can also be setup at this time or done at a later time. Once the user has finished with their setup, close PI. Users will then receive an email from the system when their data is ready. At that time, login to PI and the download process will automatically begin.
